Pastoral Care and Visitation
Please contact us!
It is our desire to be available for visitation. The church is not notified when someone is admitted to the hospital. Please have a family member contact the church office if the hospitalized person would like visitation. Also, please contact the church office if you've had a new baby, someone close to you has died, or if you or a family member would like a visit. Know that pastors are always available for in-office or home visits as well.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
Do you pray for others each day? Do you pray for people in nursing homes, or people who are fighting one illness or another? Do you knit or crochet? You can help others by your prayers and your knitting or crocheting. How about making prayer shawls for people who are working through sickness or old age? As you knit or crochet a shawl, you pray for the unknown recipient of the shawl. This is a great time of year to sit inside and be a blessing to someone else with your knitting and crocheting handiwork. When you have finished one, drop it off at the church with Sally. The pastors will gets the shawls to the people who need encouragement and the knowledge that others care.

2. Bring your child to the youth room with appropriate outdoor clothing.
3. Fill out a permission form.
4. Enjoy your evening.
5. Pick up your child by 10 pm
Youth: Your help is needed! Sign up in the youth room (space is limited) Please call 651-433-2723.
IMPORTANT (Please read!)
Date Nights are a wonderful time for all those involved! The parents appreciate the time on a Friday evening! The children appreciate the time with friends at the park, playing games, and doing crafts! The youth learn leadership, new games, and the younger children of the congregation!
Here is some great news: Date Nights have grown to an average of 20 children each month! There has been many people to donate food, drink, and snack each month!
Here is some tough news: Date Nights MIGHT be cancelled due to lack of adult participation! With the growing numbers of children participating, more adult supervision is needed to continue this ministry!
Here is a solution: Each month, as you sign your children up for the evening, please talk to Amanda to figure out a month that you could volunteer for the evening! This would involve, supervision youth in cleanup after dinner, staying in the nursery when little ones need a nap, and supervision playtime.
If no adults come forward to volunteer... Date Night will be cancelled! (Phone calls will be made to homes on Thursday, January 8 in the event this happens.)

Nursery Help Needed
Can you give one Sunday to help us out? We are caring for many more "little Ones" in the nursery each Sunday! If you are able to give one Sunday to stay in the nursery, it would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!! Please call Sally or Deb Krentz at 433-2723 or sign up outside the Children's Ministry Office.

Undecorating the Sanctuary
Everyone is invited to come on Saturday, January 10 beginning at 9 a.m. All the Christmas decorations need to come down and be packed away. The more the merrier... and many hands make light work. Thank You!
